Pura Luhur Uluwatu is one of the most sacred temples in Bali, dedicated to sea’s gods, up on a high cliff. Numerous monkeys have made this temple their home, having like this a breathtaking sight over the Indian Ocean.
You can admire the temple from each side of it taking the coastal path.

Let yourself be enchanted by this amazing deep blue sea.

Beware of monkeys inside the temple, they are genuine thieves! Watch your things and especially straps, glasses and food. Despite all your precaution, whether a monkey would steal you something, be sure that an employee of the temple will make his best to give it back to you (For a few rupiah, of course!).
